"TAPASYA" - pray for a soul
Vandana Aggarwal Vandana Aggarwal works in commercial real estate and pursuing to become a retail leasing specialist. She recently graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in management, specializing in Finance and Marketing. On the side, she has been modeling for Legacy Jewels and Maya Creations for the past 5 years. Vandana takes a great interest in being involved with the community and has co-founded the non-profit organization Niyoja, which is striving to eradicate illiteracy in 3rd world populations.
Vandana is trained in both
the classical Indian Dance form Kathak (over 11 years) and modern dance. She
actively enjoys participating in dance competitions & stage shows. While she
attended Georgia Tech, she was a choreographer, founder and member for multiple
dance teams ranging from classical, bollywood and bhangra. She most recently was
honored to perform live on Fox 5 Atlanta and perform in a short film. Vandana
has also hosted many dance recitals, yoga seminars and community events.
Archith Seshadri Archith Narendhra Seshadri is a consultant at Accenture, a journalist at Khabar and CBS news and a music teacher/director at Studio. He runs a non-profit organization called NASH and he sings for Dhwani. Archith has emceed several cultural programs in the community including dance recitals and festivals. He is a trained classical singer in both Indian and Western. He has emceed all recitals for the Narasimha Academy of Arts in both Florida and Georgia. Archith and his brother started Studio! to impart piano lessons and in July 2009 have held the 1st Annual Recital for their students.
Archith graduated from Georgia Tech with his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and his masters degree in Industrial Enginering. He enjoy composing music on the piano, playing tennis and volunteering in the community. He is a student of The Narasimha Academy of Arts and has learned Carnatic music since 2002 and participated in several music competitions thanks to the training of his Guru, Preeti Vinayak Shah. He won 2nd place in a classical music competition held by Shruthilaya and was one of the top 10 finalists in Atlanta Desi Idol 2008. |
