MAY 31ST- GREATER ATLANTA TELANGANA SOCIETY PERFORMANCE
Our senior students will be performing for the Founding day celebrations to be held by the Greater Atlanta Telangana Society on May 31st. Time and Located TBD. We performed last year as well and it was an amazing experience.
MAY 30TH, GWINNETT COUNTY AAPI CELEBRATIONS
Deetya Chinta and Pratiksha Kandasamy will be performing on May 30th at 6:30 pm for Gwinnett County’s AAPI Celebrations at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA

APRIL 20TH- ADAVU CLINIC TO BENEFIT COMMUNITY ASSITANCE CENTER FOOD DRIVE
REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED. STAY TUNED FOR OUR NEXT EVENT.
The CAC Food Pantry receives an average of 1200 visits per month, providing food to about 500 families in need. The CAC is able to provide food to neighbors in need year-round. For our first Natyam Youth Collective event, we are partnering with CAC and appreciate your participation and generosity to kickstart a year of giving, sharing and coming together as a community. The workshop will feature our senior students, Vainavi Battini and Vaasuki Dantuthi, who will lead participants in an Adavu Clinic that culminates in a Teermanam (one teermanam for intermediate level and one for advanced). Senior music students Kavya and Pragya Kapisthalam will be on-site to catalog and deliver the items to CAC.

Participants requirements are the following:
Completed all the Gudithu and Mei adavus.
Fill out the registration form below.
Bring 3 to 4 canned goods from the CAC list- regular size only and not large family-sized cans. Refer to this site for the needed items - https://ourcac.org/food-drive-list/
All participants will receive an Award of Volunteer Service at the end of the event.
PREETI VINAYAK- GUEST LECTURER AT TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY 2/17/25
Preeti Vinayak will be presenting “KONNAKOL TO KRITIS” on February 17th, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Texas State University. This will be Preeti’s fifth year working with Dr. Holly Wissler to present Konnakol, nattuvangam, and concepts of Carnatic music and pedagogy to students of World Music.
This year, Preeti will be joined by her daughter Nethra in this presentation. Nethra completed her Arangetram in 2022 and has frequently joined her mother in performances and workshops.
